Greenthread secures funding for technology growth

In March 2014 Greenthread secured additional financing for the continued development of the companies’ proprietary technology in Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP).  The funding will help strengthen Greenthread’s novel approach to AOP technologies and allow the deployment of a new generation of water treatment equipment for the oil and gas industry.

Greenthread successfully completes field trial

In December 2013 the second onshore field trial of Greenthread’s newest proprietary Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) equipment was successfully completed.  During the field trial waste fluids from offshore production streams and a variety of other sources were treated for COD/BOD and H2S.  After treatment these waste fluids were suitable for disposal at municipal water treatment sites.  The field trials validate and improve upon previous onshore field testing and lab trials and provided confirmation of Greenthread’s technology direction for future development.  Treatment of waste fluids at this site, using Greenthread’s latest AOP technology, is now ongoing due to the positive results.
