Brian Nutley

The consistent and sustainable business growth of start-up companies demands clear leadership, direction, an understanding of the market place and the discipline to maintain the correct fiscal, business plan and technical momentum.  These principles define and set out the company’s Mission, Vision and Business Philosophy for the Shareholders, Customers and Employees alike and ensures that strategic and operational goals and objectives are documented and measured against success.  With 40 years of experience of multinational service companies, in most geographic markets, Brian has the expertise in leadership, finance, business development, engineering and operations to understand key drivers for the strategic positioning of new technologies in new and established markets.  His role, by nurturing and developing Greenthread employees and customers, is to integrate leadership and management skills with technical product development to successfully execute market facing business plans.


Ross Clarke

Operations Director
Ross has 18 years International experience with a major service company in numerous locations.  He has experienced country level management and has honed strong operations and business management skills through working in politically and technically challenging environments.  Ross was later a member of a small start up technology company that went to successful exit after which he undertook a position in global product line management for another major service company. 


Kim Nutley

Technology Director
Kim is excited by business opportunity and the engineering and execution of successful development strategies for a company’s growth from start-up to maturation.  He has particular interest in small to medium enterprise companies, and is a co-founder of numerous start-ups that encompass property development, aviation and the oil and gas industry.  Kim graduated in Aeronautical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College and has spent 11 years in the oil and gas industry.  His working career has been within small technology companies and large international service companies.  This experience culminated in the start-up of a swellable elastomer company in 2006 that was successfully sold to a major international company in 2008.  Kim’s core strength and passion is in technology and rationalizing the value that it brings.


Andy Henderson

Engineering Manager
Andy has a passion for managing detailed engineering projects from inception through to successful completion and delivery.  He has previously worked in Well Completions with both a small start-up company and major international service company.  He has worked in challenging engineering environments for over 8 years and enjoys organising and delivering new and demanding projects.  He has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.


Glen Robitaille

Business Development Manager, North America & Canada
Glen has 16 years international oilfield experience in major service companies and has worked at management level in multiple global regions and service lines.  He was a member of two small start up companies sold on to major service companies.  Glen is a collaborative manager with good communications and management abilities in diverse disciplines.
